A Versatile Design
The M8 "Greyhound" was an important cog in the WWII U.S. military machine, a speedy light armored car with an open top turret and 37mm gun that could fire a range of different rounds. Some vehicles also had an extra ring mount. Possessing a rear mounted 110hp gasoline engine and six-wheel drive, this mobile car could reach speeds of up to 88.5km/h. 8,500 were produced between March 1943 and April 1944, and most were active in mechanized units in the European theater, some supplied to the Free French Forces and other Allied countries such as Great Britain, as well as other countries after the cessation of hostilities.
         
About the Model

Length: 143mm, width: 74mm. ★Features a detailed rendition of the turret-mounted M1919 machine gun. ★The underside of the model has plenty to look at with realistic depictions of suspension, drive shafts and more. ★Left and right fender components are optional. ★This diorama-ready kit has a plethora of acessories including steel drums, ammunition boxes and ration cartons. ★Comes with two figures and four marking options.		  
         
   

★Left: The distinctive six-wheeled form of the M8 is accurately captured, an accent provided by the commander figure for the turret.

★Right: This image shows off just some of the numerous accessories in the box, from stowage to ration cartons and the detailed M1919.
         
   

★Left: A second figure depicts a crewman in the process of lugging equipment. Fuel drums and more make for a detailed diorama.

★Right: All-new depictions of U.S. "10-in-1" ration cartons are included. Up to eight sets can be made, with or without their outer sleeve.
