Taking the Company Car for a Spin
The Toyota 86 was released in April 2012, a front-engine rear-wheel drive sports car powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Since then it has also enjoyed popularity in motorsports, including this GAZOO Racing vehicle entered in the 2013 TRD Rally Challenge series. The series provides a cost-effective way of participating in motorsports, as aside from the addition of safety equipment such as a roll cage and fire extinguisher, cars are little altered from their production versions. Interestingly, it was Morizo (aka Toyota president Akio Toyoda) who piloted this No.104 car to 2 victories from 5 races, good enough to take his class' title.
         
About the model
★1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 177mm, Width: 84mm. ★Accurately captures dynamic form complete with mudflaps and twin exhaust.
★Included decals recreate red and black livery, plus sponsor markings. ★The horizontally opposed 4-cylinder engine is depicted realistically. ★Interior features separate parts recreating roll cage, bucket seats and parking brake.
★Comes with metal transfers to recreate mirror surfaces and emblems.		  
         
   

★Left:
Silver-based color scheme with red and black graphics makes for a sporty model. Admire the twin exhausts.

★Right:
The car's simple wheel design and mudflaps are accurately recreated. TRD front fog lamps also faithfully depicted.
         
   

★Left:
The interior features details such as roll cage and bucket seats of differing design for driver and co-driver.

★Right:
Excellent detail is provided by separate parking brake parts. Decals depicts markings on the steering wheel.
