The A320neo is the latest addition to Airbus' successful family of short- and medium-haul passenger aircraft. "neo" stands for "new engine option" and features new, modern engines. One of the first customers is the German Lufthansa, which naturally presents its new paintwork on the aircraft.

The Airbus A320-200 is technologically the most advanced short to medium range aircraft in the world and has a range of 2,900 km. The four types in the A320 family include the 150-seat Airbus 320-200, the top selling model.

Lufthansa is one of the largest European airlines. The Airbus A320-200 went into service with Lufthansa in 1989 and is used on intra-European routes and in the Mediterranean area. The A320 fleet currently consists of 36 planes.
