Description:

The I-16 (TsKB-12) “sixteenth fighter” (in common parlance - “Ishak”, “Ishachok”) is a Soviet single-engine monoplane fighter of the 1930s. I-16 type 24 - development type 18. The design is strengthened here and there. Installed M-62 and the new M-63. Between the side members, a 3 mm plywood sheathing was inserted under the web, which significantly reduced the observed wing torsion. 2 hanging tanks for 200 liters were introduced (except for the main one for 254 liters) Screws: for М-62 - АВ-1, for М-63 - ВВ-1. Armament - 4 ShKAS machine guns. Up to 6 PC-82 under the wing. Up to 500 kg of bombs. Take-off weight reached 2050 kg.
